Description: July 31, 2007: NS 36Q meets NS 25K, the Reading and Northern also comes out of the Reading Yard. I got lucky, I thought I was only filming one train when 25K came out of nowhere, I was about to shut off the camera when the R&N came, but I didn't. 36Q has units NS ES40DC 7665, NS Dash-9-40CW 9911, and NS Conrail Blue Dash-8-39C 8207. 25K has units NS ES40DC 7518 and NS Dash-9-40CW 9876 (I like the number =D). The R&N has units RBMN SD40-2 3056 and RBMN SD40-2 3051. This is my first time catching the Reading Blue Mountain and Northern leaving Reading Yard bound for Port Clinton. Enjoy. The Reading and Northern ID Southbound is QARG, Northbound, as in this video, is RGQA. |

bechho ::: Favorites Cool video. How long time between the NS and the RBMN - it seemed like seconds. Super take. Really enjoyed it, also for the local freight as RBMN. 07-09-07 06:12:18 _____________________________________________________
Hickler90 ::: Favorites Damn im mad lol. YOu catch the coolest stuff! Well my cameras charging now so hopefully ill get something other than 17-G, 14-G and 35-A 07-09-03 16:01:00 _____________________________________________________
o00o00ozy ::: Favorites Yeah this video is from July 31, but while you were gone I caught some of the rarest catches, NS 684, 3 SD45-2s in TWO DAYS, and a lot of EMDs. 07-09-03 15:55:00 _____________________________________________________
Hickler90 ::: Favorites Wow, im gone 4 days and i come back to see you caught some R and N at CP Belt??!!! lol its alright, i will sometime, btw up near where i was was Readin g and Northern trackage, i didnt see anything though. nickbass2010 ::: Favorites Thanks o00o00ozy. 07-09-02 18:13:48 _____________________________________________________
o00o00ozy ::: Favorites They stack them by four on the yellow loaders. Certain parts of the flat bed slide through the openings in the tower in order to lock it into place. I can't say I have ever seen it done, I will head up to the terminal sometime to see if I can find out how it works. 07-09-02 17:26:35 _____________________________________________________
nickbass2010 ::: Favorites How is it they get those flatbeds on the flatcars because I still don't know how they do it? 07-09-02 15:26:27 _____________________________________________________
o00o00ozy ::: Favorites 25K is the intermodal, 36Q has the RBMN hoppers, he always has a set from about 3 to a dozen in his consist. Sometimes 33A has QTI RBMN cars. And then rarely the actual RBMN QTI hopper train runs to Baltimore, NS 684 and 685, I do have a video... 07-09-01 10:37:07 _____________________________________________________
floamman ::: Favorites Anyone else notice that in NS 25K's consist there were some RBMN hoppers? 07-08-31 23:46:23 _____________________________________________________
NSNCRailfan ::: Favorites Oh, I definately will have fun up there and get plenty of trains for you guys. 07-08-31 17:22:31 _____________________________________________________
o00o00ozy ::: Favorites The Reading and Northern is one of my favourite shortlines. This one is considerably a local, but the R&N has many lines dispearsed throughout northern PA. I think I'll travel up there sometime and ride the excursion and film... I have a video of another shortline around here, they have U-Boats!!! I also caught an NS SD45-2 (1701) today, that's something you'll never see unless you come up here =D. Hope you have fun on your trip to the Mid-West! 07-08-31 16:30:02 _____________________________________________________
NSNCRailfan ::: Favorites Also I've got #7508 trailing with #204. 07-08-31 16:14:10 _____________________________________________________
NSNCRailfan ::: Favorites Train #1. Nice GEVO leading with that Catfish in that Intermodal Show. Train #2. Sweet!! Brand Spanking New GEVO in the lead, I've got #7658 earlier this week with that disgusting horn CR blue leading #212. Train #3. It's Local Time! 07-08-31 16:13:08 _____________________________________________________ |
