Not sure if I like the presence of music and sound effects when the crystal shows the battle and the imprisonment in the phantom zone. Those scenes should be silent.

Have to disagree ATP, the music is swell :) The right mood for the menace which the villains represent.

Yeah it would be better if the scene could end with real Hackman dialog. Have you considered using some of the dialog from the head south deleted scene? and on that point will you be using any of the deleted scenes in this cut?

Very nice job Selutron! One question: Where on earth did you get that alternate take of Brandos reading of the trees poem! It blew my mind when I first watched this! I think you should end this scene in the way onekingprods did, with the RIC scene ending and the Lex / Eve head south scene, works better than Lesters fake lex footage.

The Donner scene ends better than Lester's. I'd propose to leave the Luthor monologue as in the DOnner Cut, minus the toilet joke, then have the deleted scene with Luthor and the alfa waves, making it more full a version of the scene, and more Donner-esque. Otherwise, great edit man! Congrats. I can't WAIT to see this out...

Wow! Lex Luthor here played by Gene Hackman seems to have met Jor-el played by Marlon Brando. What's inconsistent now with the movies is the fact that when Lex Luthor played by Kevin Spacey in Superman Returns seems to have never met Jor-el in the first place. Looks like Bryan Singer and the rest of His writing department made a misstep in terms of story and consistency!

To kigawman,I agree with you. But what if(and I mean "If")Lex did meet Jor-El in "II" and in "Returns",he explained his expireance of the Fortress to his new goons? Ever thought of that? Remember when Lex said,"He thinks I'm his son."? He's actually explaining it to Kitty and the goons.
