musicfan81 ::: Favorites This happened because the government in New Orleans mismanaged money; they were given millions of dollars over the years by the federal government to repair the levee before it eventually broke (they knew it was bound to break sooner or later), and they did nothing, the corrupt politicians in their state gov't pocketed the money. People need to quit putting all the blame on President Bush. 07-01-30 01:02:15 _____________________________________________________
munkeehead ::: Favorites i love how people can live in another country, move here (usa), and then talk crap about our prez. (Mekhisda) go back to scotland! Musicfan81 is right... new orleans had plenty of time to fix the levee but they didnt then when the hurricane was on its way the governor and ppl were warned to get outta the city but no one listened! 07-02-17 11:13:29 _____________________________________________________
ThePizani ::: Favorites I live in Louisiana. There has always been confusion on who is responsible for the levees. Most people did get out of the city. The people left behind were too poor to get out. 07-02-18 07:21:17 _____________________________________________________
ThePizani ::: Favorites If you've ever been to New Orleans, you know that it is a difficult city to evacuate even if you have a car. During hurricane evacuations, Interstate 10 going west is turned into a one-way road out of the city. That's 8 lanes of traffic heading one way, and yet it still gets congested. Blame whatever politicians you want, but please don't blame the people. 07-02-18 07:21:38 _____________________________________________________
taft702 ::: Favorites it may be sick but i laughed just at the concept of you posting this in response to make me laugh. 07-03-14 00:24:41 _____________________________________________________

WindsorFox ::: Favorites You are a clueless idiot. When starting to make idiotically incorrect comments on subjects you have zero clues about, please STFU. Unless you were HERE, you can not know. 07-06-17 03:25:30 _____________________________________________________
WindsorFox ::: Favorites Well said. I am in Baton Rouge and *I* wouldn't give the Blanco administration anymore money with out full accountability up front. Why the hell would anyone in their right mind trust William "Dollar Bill" Jefferson and Ray "Chocolate City" Nagin with free federal money?? People who blame Bush are ignorant and and just looking to lay any blame on a Republican pres. 07-06-17 03:33:19 _____________________________________________________ |
