Mikemaniax ::: Favorites 2007-08-03 20:07:11 I encourage anybody and everybody to see this film. It's a great piece of existential beauty. Although there isn't much music in the film, let alone any contributions from the 2 rock star castmates, I do think that especially James Taylor fans and fans of The Beach Boys or Dennis Wilson should see the film. They actually have pretty good chops as actors. __________________________________________________ | |
us441south ::: Favorites 2007-07-05 16:31:53 Great film. The last parts of this movie were filmed here in east Tennessee. Do a search here at You Tube for Deal's Gap. You'll love it. I know the "Flagman" & "Pickup Driver" from the final scenes. Both were heavily into racing at the time. Flagman Ray Smith was a top contender on the local scene. The diner scene was shot in what's now a resort for bikers who want to challenge Dragon's 318 curves in 11 miles. __________________________________________________ |
