The block feature you're describing will do absolutely nothing toward preventing a clone account from damaging a person's reputation. __________________________________________________

The easiest plan is just for YT to dedicate a staff member to this problem, and allow them to suspend all the verified accounts that we report to them. It could also be done through a reporting form. __________________________________________________

LiveVideo does it that way, and all you have to do is logout to view the video. That function has also caused a lot of damage on LV imho since it's all to easy to have a blocking tantrum with people who have different opinions. __________________________________________________

The problem is that, for whatever reason, those who are blocked have no problems harassing people. I've blocked several people from my MySpace page, and I've never heard from them again. __________________________________________________
