InvertedNailSystems ::: Favorites 2007-10-08 03:31:37 Thanks for the comment, yes you apply the acrylic to the mould and then attach it to the nail plate. Nothing goes over the mould, all the acrylic is inside. The moulds are 'very' thin so the finished extension is 99% acrylic with the mould over the top giving with a thin & glossy finish. Essentially you can make the nail as thick or as thin as the client wants, you just add more acrylic. __________________________________________________

angieroman ::: Favorites 2007-10-07 12:43:24 Hi...I love this....So you apply the acrylic under a mould, then you attach the mould with pink acrylic...do you apply the pink to the nail plate or mold? so nothing is over the mould? is it thick enough?? WONDERFUL JOB!!!!!! __________________________________________________
InvertedNailSystems ::: Favorites 2007-09-28 09:38:44 Hi thanks for your comment! Fills are done in exactly the same way as with sculptured nails. As the natural nail grows you just remove any loose or lifted acrylic from the nail, re-prep and apply new L&P. Buff to remove any lumps or bumps (sorry you still have to buff for a fill!) then apply polish topcoats and oils, whatever it is you normally use. __________________________________________________
fitchica ::: Favorites 2007-09-28 02:43:19 how do you do infills __________________________________________________
InvertedNailSystems ::: Favorites 2007-09-22 06:06:48 Thanks for your comment. Yes we do the nail upside down, yes we put the glitter acrylic mix inside the 'mould' and yes the mould is shaped like an oval because it has to encases the entire nail. But it is not a 'tip', no 'Glue' is used, we use pink L&P acrylic to bond to the nail plate. No clear acrylic is used 'on it' and no buffing is done to the top of the extension. ohhhboy06 ::: Favorites 2007-09-21 13:38:22 i figure out how she did it all she did was turn the nail upside down and put glitter on the inside of the nail and let it dry. the nail was a whole nail not a nail tip. after she glued the nail whole nail on she just put clear acrylic on it and filed and buffed away. if you look at the nail and pause and rewind you will see that the nail is shaped in a oval and that was the beginning of the top of the nail __________________________________________________
