Description:

For in depth analysis and detailed calculations: http://speed-light.info/speed_of_light_12000.htm -------------- When we compare the speed of light in vacuum with 12000 Lunar Orbits / Earth Day inside the gravitational field of the sun we get 11% difference. When we compare them outside the gravitational field of the sun we get zero% difference: The distance to the sun is not a constant; so as the distance to the sun increases the difference in energy causes the length of the lunar orbit to change. When the Earth-moon system exits the solar system 12000 Lunar Orbits / Earth Day becomes equal to the speed of light. Hence, if it is defined inside the gravitational field of the sun then this definition will be wrong with time; however since it is defined outside the gravitational field of the sun then this definition will be true for ever! --------

I'm not a scientest...I brought this knowledge from the orginal report...to argue it you must argue it with the discoverers of this fact. there are many PhDs with full report on this.

You know, the calculation might indeed be right. But I told you that is not the point. The point is when there are more explicit proves there is less faith. You dont need to base RELIGION or BELIEFS in SCIENCE, for science changes all the time according to our limited perceptions, but God is one and doesnt change.

If more scientific numbers increase your faith, then that is not faith, for in a world like this whenever they present a proof for God's unexistence you should believe even more, and not delegate your beliefs to what they tell you numbers or discoveries are.

Nice, but the title is disturbing !

Sincere faith has nothing to do with scientific proofs. When there are less proofs your faith should become stronger, and when there are proofs you should remain suspicious, for nothing science comes up with remains unperturbed, and one day will come when our understanding will drastically change, and all your proofs will be the reason of your humiliation. Be certain that the speed of light is not even a constant in time, but depends on the expansion of the universe.

Inasmuch as Im against of relating the Quran with science I think there is something extremely interesting not pointed out by the Egyptian creator of this calculation: the number supposedly stated by the Quran is slightly bigger than the accepted number nowadays, by a tiny fraction of a 0.00001%. Very recently, they discovered the speed of light is not a constant of nature, but depends on the universe expansion.

You are correct ...but you must understand that we already believe in Allah...science or without science. Yes science changes. thats why we do not buikd our faith around science but faith...however these things are called "Signs" like many others some believe in them some dont...just like the sign of life.

We do not live our religioun around miracles and proof. These things are like candy...for the believers to be happy and for the non-believers to think.

The more expanded the universe the bigger the speed of light, thus one can interpret a higher number in the Quran as talking about the future. The rate of change of this "constant" is extremely small of course, but it doesnt mean its not increasing as the universe expands. The Quran quote talks about "THEN shall it ascend to Him", dont you think it could point towards the date of the end of times?

No I dont think so. Superficial people abound and I know many Muslims whose faith is based upon these scientific proofs, which deprives them from developing real faith, real connection with the real proofs God offers us in every single detail.

you are right. Quran is not a book of SCIENCE. It is a book of SIGNS. Question is, DO YOU HEED THOSE SIGNS, or do you live in a world of ignorance and rebellion(rebellion to God)?
