GtrLvr76 ::: Favorites Chet Atkins recorded it a long long time ago. I used to have it on a 78. At the time, it was not called Hungarian Dance #5. It was called "Canned Corn" - or something like that. I'm guessing that Richard Smith must have learned it by ear. He played it exactly - note for note all the way through, including the ending run and last note.
