I would call this one of the best pop songs I have ever heard. The only thing that comes close is "The Gift" by the Velvet Underground with John Cale doing the words. Ferry does the surreal lounge lizard like nothing ever seen. I saw John Giorno do something like this with just a ticktock thingy(forget what you call it)at St Marks Church in NYC. What Giorno did for nothing was better than 95% of all pop music.

Thanks for that. I racked my brains and managed to remember In Search of Eddie Riff and found it on ebay. I've never heard of the other two but I've just found one of them on good old ebay. Again, many thanks for a newly rejuvenated quitetired.

I'm quite tired as well. I have to rely on quick stops to Wiki or allmusic alot of the time to remember stuff.

I take it you mean Paul Thompson. He left to start a gun shop if I remember correctly and then rejoined as of the 2001 tour so I'm not too sure he did. BTW no one seems to mention Eddie Jobson who replaced Eno. He brought a new dimension to Roxy with the violin.
